how old is pup? if it was mine I'd give it some Ivomec in the mouth 1/2 cc per pound, no more than 5cc for a big pup..

hope this helps til u can get to the vet.

I know a few people that treated like this with good success rates. I will tell you personally I havent tried this but I hear from a few people this works follow the link:
http://www.casadeltoro.net/remedies.html

If you dont want to try that Ive used gatorade or pedialyte, childrens tylenol (i think its been a very long time) and pepto bismal.
Umm any chance the dog might be wormy? Ive had them pass blood from worms.

I'd be sure it WAS parvo before treating for it. Worms can also cause blood in the stool as well as severe intestinal tract infections.

There are so many things it could be at this early stage.

Had a dog get parvo. Stool wasn't hard. It literaly sprayed out and she also vomited about the same time. I never saw no blood in the stool. The stool was milky white. She staggered around like she was drunk.

Hooks do show alot of Blood in the Stool .. But if it is a heavy Infestion of Hooks you want to kill them Slowly with a mild worming then re-worm in 1 week with a heavier dose, If you hit them real hard you can cause "Intestional Shock" this is when alot of Blood is released into the system becouse of the Detaching Dieing Worms. And has all the same likeness as PARVO.

put the pup on a antibiotic..if theres blood, it won't be long before it gets intestinal infection..could be reaction from parvo shot,hookworm,giardia,E-coli, severe coccidia..good luck!! if its giardia it takes a special antibiotic to get over it..i lost a pup because one vet misdiagnosed what it had..after posting the pup they found out it was giardia and was on the wrong antibiotic..

Thats what it probably is. Dont give ivomec aleast not as much some posted I give ivomec 1/10 cc per 10lbs. If you give that pup 1/2 cc or 5cc it will kill it.
