this is a little off topic, but i need ne information i can get about a model 37a winchester 20 gauge shotgun, 3 in, barrel, full choke and gold trigger.

current production models have 3" chamber, gold trigger and 3 briley choke tubes, f-m-ic, come in 2 configurations, sure there are older models that are pre choke tubes out there as well...

sorry, must be brain dead, thought I read ithaca, winchester or what is left of it no longer builds the model 37 or any single shot shotguns, might try gunbroker.com...

Is Ithaca back? Someone ask me Sunday at our papershoot and I didn't know.

Those old 37's, the first models, not the A models, seem to be the weapon of choice among the serious papershooters. Apparently they are really tite without failing the choke test.

ithaca has reorganized-filed ch. 11 etc... several times now back in business as of 2007 with facilities in upper sandusky, ohio moved from n.y. same basic gun, but the modern twists, not a low end item... have an older deerslayer with an extra f-c barrel, have taken quite a few deer with it, it is semi-retired these days....
the old model 37 winchesters were great target shoot guns, still used, the 37A is not the same gun as the old originals...
