Deer processing location needed

anyone from the Richmond, Scotland, Moore, Montgomery County areas of NC that knows where a good place to take a deer to be processed, will you please let me know?

I need location, directions and/or phone number.

Have you considered cutting it up yourself? Not hard to do and no question your getting back your own meat and that it's been taken care of. And saves you $75 or so. I did mine last night and it didn't take long at all.

Here's a link provided by the NCWRC on their website, I saw 2 sites, one in Robbins and one in Troy...there are 3 pages so I might have missed others? Make sure you click the link for plants that process deer.

well, that would be the best, but since i haven't attemplted that in over 10yrs, i dont want to screw it up. one day, I'll do that!!

the legend for processing only means that the deer must be gutted before they will do anything. is that correct?

I think so Cynthia, I don't deer hunt and when i did a good friend always helped me so I have never used one of these processors.

Just slice it open takes all of a minute and your ready to role. Someone shoot a deer? Lets see some pics!

dont think I can just slice it open because if I hit the right spot, then I have ruined the meat. no deer yet, I wanted to be prepared. I'm anal like that.
