Has anybody done this? I know I have to first register with a registry that the UKC accepts, but I am having trouble finding out which ones do through my internet search.

We just bought my daughter an NKC registered American Bulldog and would love to compete in the many local UKC shows.

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

We do accept the NKC for the American Bulldog. Our "Application for Single Registration" can be downloaded from our website.
(www.ukcdogs.com). Complete the application and send it in to us along with a copy of the NKC Registration Certificate, 3 generation pedigree information and 3 pictures of the dog. These pictures should be 1 from each side and 1 from the front, all with the dog in a standing position.

Just two more quick questions.

First he is a pup (4 months old) does that make a difference with the pics?

Second someone showed me on the form where it says NKC is accepted and it looked like pictures where only needed if there was a non-breeding contract. Am I understanding that correctly or not?

For this breed of dog, we ALWAYS require pictures.

The age of the dog does not matter as far as the pictures are concerned.

I have just purchased a dog from a breeder who's dogs are ABA reg. and NKC reg. and are grand champions in both can their titles be transferred to the UKC ?
