tragedy yesterday in ohio

yesterday at bout 5 3 teenagers were in a car accident when one of the vehicles ran a stop sign goin on to a state route unfortunetly all 3 students were in my grade juniors at keystone high school. the one passenger died on impact others are recovering...anyways it got me thinkin there gonna try him for vehicular homicide and will prolly do time but yet some cold hard killer can kill a women or kid and get away with 10 years top so today was definetly a quiet day at school and we also had crisis counslors come talk to us about everything

a town close to me, banned cell phone use within city limits, you must pull over to use your phone, its like a $150-$200 fine!!

hope everything takes a turn for the better, for the ones still with us.

my daughter is a senior at that high school, and knew all the kids involved. The girl that lost her life was a member of First Baptist church in LaGraneg Ohio, and hopefully she was a christian. I personally know the boy that hit these two girls, and I am good friends with his father. This is so terrible for every one involved. No matter what the law does, this young mans life has changed for ever, Jail time isn't the answer. Accidents happen, in todays world seems like everyone want sto make people pay one way or another.

a few years back, we had a similar tragedy happen in our area. about 6 girls had spent the night at a camp at a local campground. they were on their way to cheerleading practice. no one really knows what happened but their car ran a stop sign at a county road going onto a state road. they ran into the fuel tanks of a semi. i doubt they ever saw it coming. i believe two of the girls were killed. the truck caught on fire but both the driver and his passenger escaped. the girl that was driving survived. it was a tragic accident caused by her carelessness that she has to live with for the reat of her life. she was given probation and lesser charges than homicide by vehicle.
hopefully the da in your area will take into account the circumstances as long as alchohol was not involved.
