Training question

Have a 2 year old blue dog that is a accurate straight tree dog locate and chop...non stop my problem is that she will not go hunting more than about 100 yards away from me as long as I walk with her threw the woods she will eventually strike a track and run it until it hits a tree....I turned loose over 20 coons in the cage to her in the last year and have been told that she is accustomed to not having to go out hunting to find a track and thats why she will not go off hunting... what can I do to get her to GO.

any ideas will be appriciated

First off I'd stop turning those caged coons loose for her. You got a 2 year old dog but your babying her like a 5 month old pup. Take her hunting by herself and hunt her regularly. Don't walk in there with her anymore. Stand right there with a switch and use it on her if you have to. She'll either start going hunting or she won't.
