MIddle Creek Knot Head

Does anyone know how this dog was bred and what type of hound he was?

Knot was off of John Books' GrNt Windy Hills Trinity and Twin Rivers Babe (Buckwheat). Babe was by Dual Grand FR Nitehawk and Dual Grand Dan's FR Penny. Knot was National Grand Nite Champion Walker at AO a few years back. I remember him as being open on track and a nice tree dog when I saw him go. He was owned by Robert Barnes of Gallatin, MO.

yes he was ball on track had a good cold nose & could move a cold track, He was a quick locator chop on tree 80 to 90 a minute. 95 % first tree dog. I hunted him for Bob |B. He was like his Daddy only louder. May I ask why you are inquiring, I am looking for something that goes back to Knot Head or Trinity if any one has any thing call John at 712-373-9767

knot head

i raised knot head, started him and sold him to bob, he was a nice pup, he had some very promising brothers that didn't end up in as good of hands

knot couldn't have ended up in a better home, bob took him and hunted him by himself and hard, i only hunted with him once or twice after i sold him, but he looked very impressive

i think john had a female out my dog and knot head's mother that turned out good, buckwheat ( knot's mother was a nite hawk female if i remember right)

i haven't hunted much since the early 90's

John, long time no see, give me a call if you if see this
you too Bob, take care

Forrest was not me? Might have been my son, but I doubt it.
