Well, I guess this is where me and UKC have a difference of opinion, for the simple fact that once a dog makes Grand around here, it fades into obscurity unless it gets hunted PKC. There needs to be some program from Grands to compete in. Anyway, I digress...
The only dog I keep hearing, and it may be because I hunt the breed, is Paul Kell's GNtCh B & T gyp Hadie. She just got Queen of Hunt in one night at our Sectional. I might be biased though, as I do have a pup out of her and Rex...
Anyway, that's my answer. There's lot of dogs winning, but they're either "blow through the country" before stopping to hunt, like to tree too much (without coon), or rough. That's not well rounded to me.
Mr. Bowen does have some fine hounds. They have to be good at those prices. Besides, he SAYS they are...;-)
