Plotts

How come you hear about their grit and catching on hogs but all the pics I can find on the net show 3 or 4 of them baying hogs? People who hunt them claim they're not as fussy as rumoured ...does this also mean they're not as gritty either?

Justin, don't be confused between a mean dog and a gritty dog, some of those Russian piggys can get pretty rank and aggressive.

i never hunted any hogs. ive seen plenty of rough bear.. plotts have a rep of being great game fighters... from what ive seen any dog with no fear is soon dead.. its a fine line between courage and stupidity.. a good hog or bear dog knows exactly where that line is..
