What an exciting line of hounds...
I wouldv'e really liked to get this posted sooner, but could everybody please send a prayer up for my sister, she is 7 months pregnant and had to have her Appendix removed and is in a lot of pain....I have been in the hospital with her ever since i got back from a few coonchases on thursday night. Well, on thursday a guy from a few hours down the road came by to hunt and pick up the 11 month old lightly started Male pup (Thor) that he bought. we took him, his sire ( GRCH PR WILKINSON'S JEBB DNA-P) and his dam ( CH PR MORGAN'S LOSSES HILLS DAWN). After Thursday night I felt so thankful and blessed to have access to such a fine line of hounds, and also to KEEP IT ALIVE!!!!! well first dump started out as the 3 above. We cut loose, and i hear Dawn strike but I was unsure of what direction she was in....about 3 minutes later, Jebb and Thor struck a nice hot track up the hill a few hundred yards....Jebb starts throwing locates and finally settles down into a nice ahrd steady chop (now being 11 he wasnt as loud as he used to be and he has slowed down SO much). Thor met as at the tree, was checking it like there was no tommarrow and sits down into a hard steady chop just like his daddy. The tops were WAY too thick to see anything but SUMMER LEAVES!! and so we couldnt find anything, but with confidence we knew it was there....here are the pictures of Jebb and his boy treeing together....
Thor on the right, Jebb on the left ( if you couldn't tell! lolol)

Here are the pictures of Thor after we pulled Jebb off...they headed back to the truck and Jeff and I stayed at the tree and tied Thor up to let him do his thing....he is a VERRY classy tree dog AND MAN IS HE LOUD!!! I wish the best of luck to you Jeff with him and hope you can win a few hunts with him!!!

then it was time to go get Split Tree Dawn!! We drove around to the back side of the woods were she was treed right off the side of a gravel road (she's always the easiest to get to LOL!) and her tree was SO VINY AND THICK it was unbelievable....I really wish we had the good enough vision to find her coon but I knew it was up there and so did she!!!lololol.....ps...check out those new TRCKER LIT COLLARS....have one on all the dogs but Jebb....do you like? I know i really do and you can really see what your dog is up to!!!

Well, then by this time Jeff was ready to head home and we were ready to switch dogs.....This time we only took my 17 month old English female, Rebel, and a 3 year old Walker male (Rock)....we arrived to the area were we were going to cut the dogs. I got Reb out of the box and hooked her to the tailgaite while I got her collars all strightened up. I went to put her lit collar on right as she threw her head in the air and started aSCREAMIN!!!! I finally got her to hold still long enough to put her collar on and we walked up to the woods (on the edge of a bean field) and Rock struck off the leash which is really unusual, so we then knew there was a coon that was in the beans and we scared him out! well, Reb and Rock opened about the same time and then rock started to locate around and i heard rebel treein.we hurried in there and Reb was in a hole and Rock was runnin around her wanting a peice of it! we pocked a stick deep down in and heard a coon growl. man was I proud of Rebel that she could hold the pressure and what an improvement since last week!!

wow did I have a great time and it gave me a chance to realize that I have some good coondogs and a line to be thankful for. I feel so blessed to be hunting these dogs 5 nights a week!!!!
happy hunting and Take care
Kellie
