Jamie Williams, looks like,
you have giged frogs for awhile? How you explained it, is how I have done it for years, with the exception that when you get a big frog I will clean the front legs & back also. And like you, make sure to take the tendons out of all of the legs. I have found that it is easiest to get the tendons out after cutting the feet off, then going inside of the body cavity, next to the backbone, & slip your knife blade under the tendon next to the backbone, holding the tendon down tight against your knife blade with your thumb & pull slow. Sometimes those back legs will get to working back & forth while your pulling those tendons out.
I like to batter them like chicken, & deep fry them, they get more evenly done.
The most that I have ever caught in one night, was 117, & I was supposed to be at school at 7:30 the next morning, & at 6:30 I wasn't quite done cleaning them, yet.
Sometimes there is little white worms that get between the skin & muscle, & it seems as if they get worse the hotter & later in the year that it gets.
