One crazy SHORT night...

Tonight I decided to take my young female out hunting. Went to my first turn out and there was deer laying about 30 yards from me and I had no shock collar to put on her, so i drove about 200 yards and cut her loose she hunted around for about twenty minutes then came back. I tried to get her to hunt some more but it just was not happening (her tongue was dragging the ground) so i put her in the truck and we went back home to the city.... and when I got her out of the truck she would not stop pulling all the way to the pen then started making laps around the pen with her nose in the air.... I go get the light and sure enpugh two coons perched in a tree 20 feet from the pen so I got her out and she went right to the tree so I leashed her and went ang got the pellet gun and shot one out for her... snd the fight was on. This was the most fired up I have ever seen this dog over a coon so I hope our next hunt goes well.

yes it is... one per night, per party

That is why I did not shoot the second one out. But I do have my trap out to catch that little rascal because he has been climbing on my truck trying to get some spilled dog food out of it.
