The best dog food I have used. My dogs really like it, their coats are shinny and I feed less and they have less stools.

I like it and the dogs like it. The dogs look really good on. The problem is the PRICE! They raised it $4 a bag a month or so ago. It is now $25.99 for a 40 lb bag. I talked to the Nutrena rep for our area and a national rep and was told it was a necessary increase. I am still feeding it but I think I am going to something else. They have priced themselves out of line for the quality IMO. Heck it isn't Canidae or one of the other top 10 rated dog foods so it shouldn't be priced as such.

I was also fed the line at Grand American

First I was told in 2 weeks they would have it available. I wanted thier performance 31- 20 Chicken and rice. At the time I had been feeding pro plan performance chicken and rice. Well at the end of Feb. I got a call and they finally had the food in. $35.00 plus tax which is not a bad price for 50# lb bag.I did as normal and mixed 50/50 for 7 or 8 days. Fed the 50# bag and called them and asked why more stool than usual. Thier answer was, hounds stomach has not stabilized to it yet. Well, I got another 50# bag and still twice the stool I was getting from purina pro plan. I fed the same amount to Gauge that I did the pro plan and noticed that he didn't stay in near the condition on Loyall that he did on purina. I only feed performance to hounds that are hunted 6 nights a week. Long story made short I'm back to pro Plan performance!! I'm a Platinum member and will be for life regardless of the price!! Just wondering how you got yours so quick when the plant is only 1 hour from me!!

Danny I have had mine for months. I don't know why you haven't. I am not sure how much longer I will be feeding it though. I am just feeding "adult maintenance" and it is working fine on my dogs. When I first started on it the cost was $21 a bag which wasn't too bad. Then without warning the price jumped $4 a bag. I checked their website for dealers in your area, since i will be there for a while this summer, and they showed several. Is there dealers there who actually have the food or not? I thought I might go to a higher protein in the winter when we are hunting hard but I think I am just gonna switch back to Purina.

dont switch

it took me three weeks to get it all figured out . i feed 40 pound 6 days and im feeding 11 head . wash the kennels out 1 day dont even need to the next day but do anyway . in the long run the price averages out better. the higher protein food will run threw the dogs quicker . i started out feed the higher protein . droped back to the 26 19 and have had excellent results. give it a chance and you wont change. my dogs dont sit in the kennels if any of you were wondering .

i spoke with a nutrena rep the other day nutrena is trying to get loyall out there for everyone. any comments you all have or any questions go to nutrena. look under loyall and tell them what you think. or you can ask your dealer for the number to your local rep. and talk to them. everyone im not a sales man for loyall i just believe in their feed. doing wonders for me.

The same as Danny is saying Dog does not hold up when you are straight up hunting the dog. I mean really hunting the dog like from dusk til dawn the dog just does not look good like on Pro Plan Performance. The Loyal rep give us the spew of THIS IS THE BEST FOOD ON THE MARKET BAR NONE...... Well I like when a dog craps that it is not much and on Loyal it is quite a bit THAT IS NOT GOOD. 35.00 a bag 30.00 of it is on your kennel floor.

evryone has their own choice.all of you that say loyall is just running threw their dogs how long did you us it .like i said it took me tree week to get dog us to it then i had very little waste .dogs hold up in it. the first week i used it i was willing to give up but held out and now wont feed any thing else. its like going on a weight lose plan you cant expect improvements over night. you want it to work feed the same amount of loyall evrery week lust like you would your regular feed and within three weeks you will start cutting you food back.i was feeding around 100 lbs a week to 11 head now feeding 40 lbs.
