my newest prospect
i bought him for my girlfriend but i think the hearding instict might aide in him running rabbits?/ he's only 8 weeks now but i'll have him runnin this winter if she lets me LOL
i'll update the thread as long as anyones interested
but in the meantime does anyone have any experience with heelers??

i know this is a beagle forum and i own beagles as well Lol
so please dont delete this.. i just thought it'd be interesting....

A buddy of mine worked for a farmer who raised heelers for 30+ years. They are great dogs to have around stock. They usually don't mess with the cattle until you tell them too. Neat dogs.

My buddy bought 2 pups off of this farmer (at separate times) and both of them got run over on the road. I guess they both thought they could "herd" the traffic away. They are stubborn little buggers.

yeah he's only 8 week and already heel nippin.. got him from a farmer so i guess he's got a good hearding insticnt in him.. we'll see if he can run em soon enough
