Hobo,

Made a trip back to my NEW honey hole last night....now affectionately called the "Coon Sanctuary". They were still there...and how!

One side will be perfect come AO time, nice little creek between the HUGE Timber and a 100 acre feeder bucket (corn field)! The nice guy even had a path mowed all the way around it.

If we treed 3 with the mutts we were packin, I hate to think how many a coondog could tree.

Jay,

With the dogs I pack, I HAVE to find places like this for my mutts to even come close to treeing a coon. With the powerhouse dogs you carry, you can drop them ANYWHERE and tree coons right & left. Maybe my dogs need to start acting like MANIACS when they go!

I sure hope I'm able to get out there and hunt this new place... Are you sure you haven't slipped in and gotten tight with Elvis and are hunting that huge coon pen up there????

Them coons are still there....at least most of them. You can't see how sorry my mutts are if you don't come to Oaks Hobo....of course I will leave them in the pen and let you just assume how sorry they are. LOL

Hope you can make it, but with $4 gas...I certainly understand staying closer to home.

Boys if you want to know the secret location, then zoom in on google earth towards the northern part of Blackford county. There is so many coons, you can see em' on your computer !!!

Larry & Elvis,

After last years football season for EACH team, I would think you could get a dozen hats for the price you could have bought 1 for last year at this time. LOL

It can only get better this year.

Elvis, come on up sometime and I will put you in this honey hole..........as long as you ain't packin a GPS. You can pack a GARMIN if ya want too....appearently they don't work for long anyhow.
