That old blue saddled English hound is the best bear dog I've ever hunted behind. He will b e eleven years old this summer and has never missed a bear tree or bayup since the first one I started him on. The redtick orange and white dog is one of his pups and appears to be a clone of his old man......

One of the best I followed behind a Bear - -

Limber Lost Catfish. Also Bart and Hawk.

Catfish was the Old Fashion Black and Tan breed. Big mouth, fast track speed and outstanding tree hound.

Work an old track into a tree and what a mouth. Good bone and had those LONG ears that looked like windsocks hanging from his head.

Yep, he was a good one.
