The Tomb Is Empty

I've been to the Catacombs in Rome and saw the tombs with the bones still there. I have been to the tomb in Jerusalelm and saw that the tomb is empty. It wasn't built of Jesus it was borrowed for Jesus. It was built for Joseph of Arimathia. They hand carved the spot in the tomb to fit the hight of the person to use it. It gave me chills and thrills when I saw where this tomb in the garden had been chipped out so that it could accomidate a body that was about 2" longer than it was build for. Meaning that it was used by someone it was not built for to begin with. Jesus was a little taller than Joseph. But today , as every day, we can have hope of an enheritance in Heaven because of the empty tomb. All we need to do is live for Him and look forward to his return. John 14:1-3

Amen,

Mr Gardner, it makes my day to come on to a coonhunting message board on easter sunday, and see that Jesus is lifted up. I am thankful there are still those who are not ashamed of the Gospel and will proclaim Christ until He returns.
I hope everyone has a chance today to reflect on what we all have in Christ!

Phil so sorry I did not make it to the church on Easter Sunday. As luck would have it a family our north of town lost many of their belongings in a house fire. I was there from 5:15 Sunday morning until 10:00 am putting the fire out and trying to salvage belongings. I wanted to attend really bad. I was looking forward to it. I hope I can catch you another time under better circumstances. It was a very nice Easter Sunday wasn't it?
Ohh, how did you do over at the Macon show?

I hear ya axe. One of the best and worst memories I have is the sunday after 9-11. I remeber our churched was so packed we had to open the doors and put speakers out. It is amazing that he gave his life and some can only give two sundays of the year! Half the time churches do plays or cantata's on those days. I always wondered why would you even bother?

Subject: 10 Things God Won't Ask

...God won't ask what kind of car you drove, He'll ask how many people you drove who didn't have transportation.

...God won't ask the square footage of your house, He'll ask how many people you welcomed into your home.

...God won't ask about the clothes you had in your closet, He'll
ask how many you helped to clothe.

...God won't ask what your highest salary was, He'll ask if you compromised your character to obtain it.

...God won't ask what your job title was, He'll ask if you performed your job to the best of our ability.

...God won't ask how many friends you had, He'll ask how many people to whom you were a friend.

...God won't Ask in what neighborhood you lived, He'll ask how you treated your neighbors.

...God won't ask about the color of your skin, He'll ask about the content of your character.

...God won't ask why it took you so long to seek Salvation, He'll lovingly take you to your mansion in heaven, and not to the gate of Hell.

...God won't ask how many people you forwarded this to, He'll ask if you were ashamed to pass it on to your friends.

Yes He is risen!!!! Just as the prophesies in the Old Testament said He would. Amazing to think that those who crucified Jesus were supposed to be the most "holy" of people. They had the scriptures and Jesus fit them to a tee. Jesus was tortured, mocked, and ridiculed just as the scriptures said that were written hundreds of years before His arrival. Thanks to all of you on this board who share the Gospel.
