Produced a good one, got 2 Brag!!!!

Im not a real breeder, and just have regular ole hunting dogs, that tree a Coon now and then.
Have produced a few pups, but nothing real special, UNTIL NOW!!!!!!

Im going hunting tonite, with a Friend, who raised a Pup, I gave him out of my two Hounds.

IVE NEVER BEEN MORE IMPRESSED, the Young hound is Thirteen Months Old, and is treeing more Coons than his Mom and Dad.
Last Saturday nite, he treed three Singles, that were harvested, before the Moon Came Up, then after the Moon Came up, he made a Final tree on a Den. He has treed several more this week, and Heck they get a Coon everytime they take him. The are now hunting him entirely by himself, The young Hounds name is Casper, I named him that when he was born. I plan to post some pics of him tomarrow on this post.

It just feels good when you produce a Coondog, the hunter who raised him did a good job, and says they have planned to breed him to a good bred gyp, and are going to give me a Pup.
Thanks for reading.

congrats richard. It's always nice to produce everything we want in a hound and you get to go hunting with the dog as well. Makes it all worth while.

Thanks Ray and Louie,

Yes im on Cloud nine, this is the Fifth Generation of these Hounds, that Ive hunted, (on the Mothers Side) and in this perticular one, it seems that Im seeing the best features off all of them. When I hear him on a Track, I think of his Great GrandFather, Majic, the speed is reminicent of his Father, the Tree style of and brains of his mother, also the independance.

He split treed Saturday nite from Three Grown Hounds, and showed them the Coon.

But the anticipation is also coming to the top, I want a Pup out of him, I just hope it has some of the good stuff too. But you never know. Its just exciting to see, a Genuine, Coon Treeing Coondog, with this kind of tallent at souch a young age. But I have to admit, that I have also had many Failed attempts, feels good to finally get it right.
