My buddy Eric and I went to a competition hunt in Troy Iowa in October. He met me at my house and I drove down. After the hunt went back home and he headed out. 20 minutes later he witnessed a truck crash into the ditch and burst into flames. He ran down and kicked the windsheild over and over untill he kicked it in. He drug the 18 year old senior in highschool out and up the ditch away from the truck. He is receiving an award from the American Red Cross on March 5 2009 at 7a.m. at the Prarie Meadows Banquet Hall in Des Moines Iowa. This is also a fundraiser for the Red Cross, He will be interviewed on telivision and was wanting to know if anyonewould be willing to donate and he would personally hand the money over during the inteview. It would be a great way to get some good attention for the sport we all love. Even if we all donated 5 dollars it would be great. Please talk to friends and clubs. Lets show them that we are not blood thirsty killers, but kind hearted people, who pull together. Donations can be sent to Eric Bottorff

It will be aired on channel 8 KCCI, His wife is doin some checkin, but he thought it was the 6th or the 8 when it will air.
