Poll in response to which dog thread

Because of the interest in the which dog to pick thread , here is a poll to vote. I will include the infomation from the other thread for those that might not have seen it earlier. Please vote. Thanks......

Quote by ringtail from the other thread.......
I been thinking.....
time is running out for you to decide.... if you don't act fast you are going miss the boat, so being the nice guy that I am, I'll decide for you....... "you should pick #2."

and to prove how nice I am, I will sacrafice & take #1 off your hands, so you won't have to cull him...... where are you located? I've got to gas up the truck then I'll be on my way to pick him up... LOL (just kidding)

seriously, why don't you change this thread a poll? I am intrested to see what % like #1 & what % like #2... from the replies it looks like #2, but as you can see from my reply I (along w/ a few others) prefer #1....

anyway, good luck with your pups and let us know which one you keep... just don't get in a hurry and rush your decision.....

Which dog will win more hunts??????
I have two fine 1 year olds and deciding which one to keep. Which one will win more hunts??

Dog 1. Hunts wide , quick strike dog and also quick to locate and stays treed. Very rarely ever split trees . Is a pack dog almost always , but is very competitive when hunted with company and wants to be first.

Dog 2. Hunts wide. Average strike dog. Split trees alot and stays treed. Very seldom ever covers another dog on tree unless he is there first. Usually will find his own coon , but not always. Very independant minded , goes opposite way from other dogs oftin.

Which dog will win more hunts???? P S .. If you have not at least made a nite champion in your life, then dont reply to this thread. I want to hear from people that have won hunts and only there opinion on which dog is best.......Thank you....

Went last night and first dump dog 1 slammed a hot coon in less than 10 minutes. I let him tree about 10 minutes and went in and was a den tree.

Dropped dog 2 next and he worked a bad track about 15 or 20 minutes and treed after about 1/4 mile and had a coon.

3rd drop was dog 1 again . He got deep and struck a hot track came near a road and I had to catch him because of traffic.

4th drop was dog 2. He got struck only barked about 4 or 5 times and treed. Another den tree. Pretty moony outside tonight.

here is alittle more information.

dog 1. Is always with the others dogs, but is very hard to beat on strike and does locate fast also. The only fault Iv seen in him is, he might pull if the other dogs pull or if a dog is trailing near by. He is not bad at pulling but cant stand alot of pressure.

Dog 2. will stay treed under pressure , but will not cover other dogs at all. He looks good if he can find a coon , but he sometimes cant find one and comes in after about 30 minutes. Then he looks bad because the other dogs have treed a coon and he has nothing.

Iv hunted both dogs with friends in 3 ans 4 dog cast and if coons are thick dog 2 looks better but otherwise dog 1 wins out. Its a tough decision.

I say 2. Sounds like 1 could be suckered in with bad company or shine with good company. Two is out to tree coon.

No one can tell from behind a computer which one is a winner.

From your description I dont think either one will win much "as is".

Dogs that win consistently are hunted hard by good handlers that hunt hard.

Hard for me to say butt in north ga. I'd go with #1 on a hunt. They both really have faults I hate...Atleast around here. I dont want a dog coming back in to me on a cast!!!
