Hey Slick,
I haven't been on here much lately. Now & then I'll come on here & look around on the first page & read a few things but don't respond, then go back to the news & sports pages. I haven't opened my e-mail now in probably a month & a half at least.
How have things been going for you, great I hope?
Things have been pretty hectic around here for several months now. One of my brothers died about 2 months ago, then a month ago one of my nieces died, & 2 weeks ago one of my sister in laws had by pass surgery. All of that & trying to hunt 2-4 nights a week, going to a Chiropractor 3 evenings a week, & working down at school everyday, doesn't leave much time for other things. Outside of that, things are going about as well as I could ask for.
I retired ole Sqeaky, she has it made now. She gets to stay in the utility room on a nice big soft bed & on cold nights, Precious the outside cat sleeps with her. Some mornings I almost have to drag her out of bed, neither one wants to go out. She's 10 years old now, & was having trouble getting up creek banks & over logs, since she fell about 20 feet out of a tree a few years ago. I had alot of fun with her, when I unsnapped her she went hunting & you better be ready to go. A lot of guys didn't like her because she was going to strike & tree some where. Would tree slick once in a while, but she wouldn't hang around & keep the BOOGY MAN away either. I've had her to go 3-4 miles a couple of times to finally strike one, but if she smelled one 10 foot from where you unsnapped her, she was going to do her best to tree it. I already miss having her along.
I better stop this RAMBLING, & see if it's stopped raining. Going to try to go hunting for a little while later, don't have to get up early tomorrow, good ole CHRISTMAS BREAK.
MERRY CHRISTMAS, & A HAPPY NEW YEAR, to you & your family. I hope you have a GREAT YEAR ahead of you.
LATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
