Mr Ballard I hate to see any of our guys transfer especially this year when we need every single body we can get to play but the way I look at it is if you dont want to be a wildcat then I dont want you as a wildcat. I know it is discouraging for a guy to sit on the bench when he obviously has more talent then guys in front of him but if you dont have the desire and heart to give your all, give every ounce of blood, sweat, and tears for kentucky basketball or any other school that YOU decided on then I have no use for you taking up scholorship space on the team. It kills me to see a commitment, then before you even give it a chance you quit. Its not just Kentucky but everywhere. Jeez, there are thousands of kids across the country that would kill to just get the opportunity that these spoiled McDonalds kids get and cant but I guaran-dang-tee you that they would put out 110% everyday just to get the chance to wear the uniform because its not about who the coach is, nor being "the man", its about taking pride in the name written across the front of that jersey. If it doesnt offend any of you UGA folks I would use your b-ball team as an example. When Coach Felton got there he had nothing much at all to work with, held open try outs, and filled his roster with walk-ons. I watched several Georgia games and what them kids lacked in talent they more than made up for in heart and guts. Them kids played 100% every minute of every game that I got to see whether they were winning or losing it just didnt matter cause they seemed to take a great deal of pride in the fact that they were priviliged enough to wear that Georgia uniform. These spoiled kids need to learn to suck it up and take the bad with the good. Good grief!!, I got to get over this pneumonia and get out hunting, reading this board seems to get me a little too fired up sometimes. lol
