feist/jack russel cross

well my uncle found a feist maybe beagle dog he is a hunting machine and has and awesome mouth he isnt named yet though because they still looking to see if someone comes looking for him and then my grandpa on the other side of the family has a female jack russel and she will kill anything and is an extremely smart dog she was the first dog they got and they still have her which is amazing for how many dogs they have had hit on the road which is saying somin another crazy thing she did was when she had jack russel puppies a couple years ago they had a male too the dad of the pups and they treed a coon out in the pasture...and while one dog would eat and watch the puppies the other would be out there watching the coon then they would switch finally the coon came down and the dogs killed it

do you think this would be a good cross?

That can be a goood cross, but not all he pups will make it as good tree dogs. Most jack russells will make excellent sq dogs, but wont bark a lick on the tree. ( Maybe) she wont pass it on to her pups. You never know you could get 2 or 3 excellent, tear the tree down, barking machines.
