You can only get Drontal from a Vet. Sorry if your wanting to get tapeworms get NoMo or Happy Jack tapewormer.

Some one will correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Safe Guard kills all common dog intestinal parasites. Works excellent fo rme.

I had a vet that sold me some drontal for my cats one time, I didnt have a scrip. and they didnt examine the cats. Just told them I had 15 cats and needed a good tapeworm med. I really did have 15 cats LOL

You can get generic Doncit in a form called Tape Worm Tabs. It will take all tape worms and do a very good job. The cost will run you about $20 to do a 60 pound or larger dog.

Do a good job of keeping the fleas off your dogs and you'll break the life cycle of tapes and you won't see a problem with them.

Safeguard is a good wormer used 3 days in a row at a rate of about 2.3CC per 10 pounds of body weight. It will take some forms of tape worms but won't do the job a good tape worm product can do with the praziquantel in it...Droncit, tape worm tabs, etc. The safeguard will do a good job on the hooks and roundworms and probably whips and will give some kill on some forms of tape worms so it's a good product but...for tape worm infestations, use a product designed for that parasite.

You can get these products at most vet supply stores and even dog supply stores like www.sportdogsupply.com

Try this place. It is where we get ours. We get the Canine Allwormer, which is the same as Drontal Plus. You don't have to have a prescription for it, we never have. They also sell their stuff on Ebay and it's cheaper there than on their website.
