Hi Mudman,
I went last Friday morning and killed 7. Didn't have time to get any pictures. Do you know anyone in your neck of the woods who's got a squirrel dog for sale.

Justin

If you are looking for a squirrel dog in your area, you need to call

Chuck Loudin - 304-472-6745 WV
Allen Franklin - 740-732-5647 OH

One of these 2 men should be able to find you a dog.

It sure was! Made 12 trees shot 6 had 1 get away. We were treed almost the entire time we were out. The longest lapse between trees was about 10 minutes.

I would say $800-$5000 depanding on what you are looking for. A finished Squirrel dog takes alot of time and effort just like a finished coon dog.

You might get a good deal on an older Squirrel dog. A young dog that is doing well in the competition hunts can demand a premium price.

Cost of a Dog

Dont be suckerd into paying a sack full of Money for a Squirrel dog , go find you a Solid Cur or fist Breader and buy a pup id say no older than six Months and if you have a pleanty of Game the natural Tendancys will come out of the dog own its own , just put the pup in the woods , praise it when it does good and let it know whn its done somthing wrong and you will have a top notch dog if it has anything between its ears besides Fur
I will not Make a man Rich at doing somthing i can do my self (jmop)
