ABe and Rj finaly sean their first coon hide today...

Abe realy took after it like a pro... baying it and even treeing on it... I think hes ganna turn out to be a good one!!!... Rj on the other hand was a lil shy of it... he was some what interested... I guess he done ok for his first time ever seaing a coon.

Here is a picture of Abe treeing the hide. Hes only 5 months old!

Have patience with RJ... he may be a bit slower starting but I hope he'll be Just as good (or better ) but don't tell your dad I said that! LOL....

NICE!!!! Looks like you're not goin to have any problems w/Abe!! RJ kinda sounds like Allie, we wern't going to take her out last night but when we got ready to go, she let out a bawl that I didn't know where she got it from! She did a little better than she had been doing! Good luck!!

thanks eveyone for all the comments!!!

We took both over to my grandmothers house (she has a lil more land) so we could let them run around and draged the hide for em again. Rj did a full 180... hes now starting to chew on the hide and fight it... i think seeing abe getting after it he decided to go after it himself. So i think he will make it.... might be a lil slower them abe... but both are showing Great Signes!!!!

We showd Jessie (littermate to abe and Rj) Whos owned by Jeff and she started going after the hide too..so she should turn out. If they keep this up... we may bred Rock and Jill again in the spring.... it looks like they are producing some nice pups.
