I believe the coons are starting to move!!

I believe they are starting to move here in NC cause me and my buddy went saturday and made two turnouts and 3 trees. Saw a coon up 2 of the trees and on the way out the dogs treed on the lead up a den. We were gone bout 2 hours total. Last night we left at 8:15 and treed at 8:30 saw the coon and was back at 8:50. I guess that is that is what happens when you hunt River Bend Treeing Walkers huh??? lol

Same here I have seen more coons in the past 2-3 weeks than I have seen in a long time. No one hunts around hee much anymore I guess. I have been to alot of trees with 3-4 coons in each tree in the past week or so.

Yeah, I'm in SC and we've been seeing them everywhere, especially ma's with little ones. Also been seeing a bunch dead in the road. They must be on the move!

.... they also won't stop eating the **** corn piles. Corn's too expensive....

Back at 8:50? Whats wrong, scared of stirring up a whitetail on the next dump?

Just kidding. I couldnt resist...

The coons have been moving good here too this week. The acorns are getting right. Find a patch with some water and good oaks and the coons are moving.

Man, just when I think I got a new powerhouse I find out EVERYONE has been treein the snot out of 'em!!! LOL

Accualy, I've had Crank out alone 6 of the last 7 nights. Shes treed over 20 coon in that time, just counting 1 per tree. Everyone of them was in an oak tree somewhere. Several doubles, triples, and litters.

I figure the cool nights have them moving around.

We have had water restrictions round here for I dont know how long and aint seen no rain in forever. I have a pup thats 4 months old and I dont even think shes seen rain yet. lol Well God Bless and Good Huntin'
