Ambex Two Broad Spectrum Wormer
anyone ever used this? heres the discription...was thinkin about ordering i and trying it but wanted to get input.
For control of roundworms (Toxocara spp and Toxacaris leonina), hookworms (Uncinaria stenocephala and Ancylostoma spp) and tapeworms (Dipylidium spp and Taenia spp but not Echinococcus granulosus[hydatids]) in dogs and cats.
Active ingredients: Levamisole hydrochloride, niclosamide
Ambex Two for Dogs & Cats: 1 tablet per 2kg bodyweight
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Dogs and Cats: Give tablet before or with a small meal. It is recommended that tablets be crushed and added to food. Treat adult animals at least twice, preferably four times a year. Breeding animals should be treated twice during pregnancy at a 14 day interval and every three to four weeks during lactation. Treat puppies and kittens every fortnight until 12 weeks of age. For kittens and old cats divide the dose giving 1/2 the dose after a morning meal and the same dose 8-12 hours later. Important: Do not overdose.
ADVERSE EFFECTS
Overdosage may cause excess salivation, vomiting and disorientation. Gastrointestinal upset may occur in rare cases.
