Went to Pocahontas,Arkansas a few years back, worst hunting I have ever hunted in. Nothing but hills straight up straight down. I live in Alabama where it can be rough hunting, but I rather battle these thickets, cutovers, and beaver ponds anyday.Did not tree alot of either night I hunted I was hunting in the state hunt

Jess.
I hate to bad mouth the place since I've never personaly been there but I've heard from several folks that said they would never go back. Big hills, neck high swamps, critters that can eat your dogs. lol. and realy thin coon..
Again thats just hear say but thats what I've heard from a few of them now.

I was accualy going to hunt Loose down there. I got the 3rd degree from everyone I know who hunted there last year or had in the past. Same kind of stuff Marty was talking about.

On the other hand though, Ive came across a few lately who say it just depends on what direction you leave the club house, and theres some good hunting around there.

My Mom and Stepdad said the same thing as the last few I have talked to, and they live about an hour or so from there in Batesville. One of these days I guess I should make the drive down to there house and find out. LOL

You ready Marty?.........nothin else it will save on the motel bill.

Jesse, I hunt around Pocahontas every other day. I have never seen straight up and down hills. We have for the most part rolling hills and river bottoms. Right now we have plenty of coon. The hunting, come September, will be good if we get some rain. You can go to Google Earth and see for yourself what is here. Loyd.
