I can guarantee it's worthwhile
I attended one of the mandatory juding seminars for multibreed judges and I can guarantee it's a worthwhile experience. Learn about correct movement, angulation, feet, proportion/overall balance, prosternum development. And learn how to look at the WHOLE dog instead of focusing on a minor imperfection. Also, judges will learn how to give POSITIVE critiques and to mention the GOOD points of the dogs. Personally, I'm constantly amazed at some of the bench show judges' remarks. A recent one that comes to mind, said to an exhibitor by the BSJ is,"Your dog has bad front hocks."
A CD covering the AO seminar would be wonderful for EVERYONE to utilize, especially if it can be presented at club meetings and it might help improve some of the judging.
