one of those nights
We've all had them, well, last night was a good one for me. Left the house later than intended, but made it to the hunt in Corydon with time to spare. So far so good, right? Got entered and drawn out with a good cast , left the club in a good mood and ready for a southern Indiana Friday night hunt. So far so good, right? After driving about 20 minutes, my truck stopped pulling its self, and started making a very expensive grinding noise whenever I let out the clutch. Well now my truck is on the roadside in Indiana, but we still have to hunt so away we go. Well, I guess I should have listened to the first signs of trouble and stayed home. My dog looked like you know what, and finished the hunt with 300 minus, my truck is still in Indiana, and we have another 2 Hours to deal with tonight. The only bright spots for the night were Jim Kilburn giving me a ride home, believe me, it was really appreciated, and the confusion in my wifes voice when she asked where my truck was this morning.
