Possum Are On The Move...

We have had a good month of much below freezing weather here in Mn...The last few days we got a break, been hoovering around the freezing mark.

I have killed 3 possum in buildings around the farm the last couple days.

I figured I was pushing my luck hunting my young dog alone, so I decided to take the old one with last night.

Wouldent ya know, Treed a coon and a possum in the same tree.....

I hate them things..

Josh
judgeing by the color of those dogs,im positive they were treeing the coon and not the possum.

snow is leaving fast here, high of near 50 today.
too dang foggy to shine a tree though.

Been real tempted the last few nights to turn loose. The fog has kept me in as well. Between the fog, drizzling rain, and the ice that is still present on the hillsides, I figured its hardly worth it.

Josh, I'm sure the old dog was treeing that coon but I wonder if the young one was confused with as many ticks as she's got she might have thought she was a bluetick and she might have been treeing the possum.
