hunt grinners poussum i know theres an ol timer bout 78 here that hunts them with cross breds ive went with him a couple of times left my dogs at home he trees 3-4 a nite and run over atlest 1 on the road

This same man would pick up road kill deer and feed them to his coonhounds(Hair and all) and wondered why they ran deer all the time.

Believe it or not, years ago at the Oak Ridge Coonhunters Club in East Tenn. We would have club hunts, hunt 25, 35 dogs. You could hunt two dogs (together), and you would get your 200 points for coon, but only half for possum! Had lot of fun, don't think we took winning so serious then.....coon were scarce.

i think there should be grade hunts or reg hunts for possum that would be fun i mean i hope i dont get jumped but all comp hunts are now is about whos dogs better and who makes more money i mean it is also for fun but come on people has let teh tru meaning of hunting go down teh drain
