looking for a natural energy booster for dogs that hunt hard for long periods of time but seem to burn out to soon.

Any suggestions?

i feed my dogs high protien/high fat feed when they are hunted hard, sometimes i put some bacon grease on thier feed. i also give them cracklin snacks.

i run my dogs 4 to 5 nights a week during coon season. we live in south mississippi where the heat will really pull it out of your. i haven't had too much trouble with them. the only trouble i find is when it is too dry. they dehydrate fast so i carry extra water.

i feed heavier in hunting season than during off season. you also need to have plenty of fresh water for them. off season they are on less protien and less fat.


what kind of dogs are you running and what game are you chasing? how long do they run before they give out? what feed are you using right now?
