dog in heat / problem

any bodyever had a dog come in heat and after the third day it looks like a baloon or puppy bag have poped out of her is this deadly or will it go away. mr. p.

shes prolapes the vet can fix it but most of the time it will come back when she comes back in

Uterine prolapse, or a prolapsed uteus, is a specific type of pelvic organ prolapse that occurs when the uterus drops from its normal position in the pelvic cavity and descends into and sometimes outside the vagina in most serious cases. This can happen during a heat cycle or birth. In the occation of a prolapsed uterus, a vet should be called to have the organ put back in place. It is most reccomended that animals with this condition not be bred, because of possible complications that could lead to death
