Attention Michigan Squirrel Dog Hunters
The Michigan Squirrel Dog Association is a non-profit orginization dedicated to promoting squirrel dog hunting in and around the state of Michigan. Our mission is to promote the sport by introducing new people and kids to hunting in general and squirrel dog hunting specifically.
We are proud to announce our first annual Spring Banquet. This banquet will be held on March 17th at the Central Michigan Sportsmen Club near Stanton, MI. Hors' de vours will be served at 6 followed by a BBQ chicken dinner with all the fixins! Door prizes will be awarded and special guest speaker will be Jim Wales. Jim is a political activist for the hunters in the state as well as an avid coon hunter and trapper. He will be updating us on some of the issues facing Michigan Sportsmen during his presentation.
Members with their dues paid will enjoy this evening for free. For non-members the evening will cost $20.00. This will include the entire evening as well as a 6 month membership in the MSDA. Non-mmebers need to RSVP to me so that we can plan for food.
Sponsors are a welcome addition. If you have a business that is outdoors or dog related and would like to donate some door prizes we would appreciate it. If you would just like to come and set up a table with a sample of your wares you and a guest could do that and enjoy the evening on us.
A raffle drawing will be held that evening. Tickets are available by sending me a PM and I'll give you an address to send in your money. Tickets are $5.00 each or 3 for $10.00. The drawing will be for #1 a custom knife, #2 a weekend stay in a log hunting lodge with access to plenty of state land nearby. This lodge is located at the Central Michigan Sportsmen Club near Stanton.
