The Dog Whisperer

I love that show. Just about the only T.V. show I watch. I really like the way that guy operates. Just seein how many hound folks also like Ceasar Millan. A lot of the antis don't like his "methods". Sure does put some of those dogs back in their place....

I wonder how many dogs people go through before they realize this? LOL

He does have neat little ways of getting his point across to the dogs though.
This week was the first time I've ever seen his shows. I learned a little bit.

Thats what I meant. :-) 9 times out of 10 it is all the owners and the dog's behavior is a result....

I always say "I wish he had some hounds and see how he breaks em off trash" I think it would be neat....

There is no doubt in my mind that he could trash-break hounds. BUT , you have to realize that he won't do it in a day. If you pay attention , alot of those dogs are not fixed in one day.
He has some good techniques , but he's not God.

I like the guy...but his training methods will not trash break a hound. As I said, I'd love to see him try. Heck, I'd buy a tape of it.

Listen to what he's teaching , and do a little thinking , and you won't have to buy a tape.

Have you tried any of his methods? You might be surprised.I have doubts that everything he does can be applied to hounds but the basics do work.

He did have a coonhound once, it was either a bluetick or a B&T cant remember. Dog was extremely shy not aggressive.
