What is the best wormer to use ?? I have heard more than once that a horse wormer is really good on dogs, but cannot remember the name. How much of the horse wormer do you give a dog ??

Wormer

I use Drontal. It is kind of expensive, about 18.00 for a 55 pd. dog, but gets em all, even tape.

when using the term wormer that's a broad subject.
most of use use ivomec for heart worms
for round and hooks strongid, nemex (pyrantel pamoate) esp in puppies
for whips rintal, panacur horse wormer
tapes. drugs containing praziquantel such as zimectrin gold horse wormer.
do an online search for the type of parasites your after then compare active ingriedents of drugs at your local feed store.

Wormer..

Panacur or Nemex

Panacur is about 22.7 mg per lb. of body weight for 3 consecutive days.

Nemex is 1cc per 7lbs. of body weight. Give one dose and then repeat in 10 days.
