well, WE WON!!! lol...went went to the UKC event tonight...didn't have anything ready for the night hunt or we wasn't ready...went to see what goes on and how a Bench Show works....well my girlfriend, Lana, took her bluetick female...wasn't gonna enter because we had no clue how bench show worked...but i knew a couple people there and they got a couple of their friends over and they worked with my girlfriend mainly showing how to "Bench" the dog...the idea was to "learn" what we need to work on at home...

well, after they give the basics, they kept on asking us to enter the dog...i told Lana to go for it. so with a dog that has NEVER been worked with, and preparing for the worst, we paid the entry fee...

like i said, we have no clue how this works, but here's the way i saw it....Lana got called up first, and won "Best of Breed"...second time called up won, "Best of Class"...and the third time called up lost the "Best of show"....only reason she lost the "best of show" is because the bluetick was slightly over-weight...if they weight had been right she'd won it all...


ended up with a trophy saying "Best of Breed", and 25 points...we are VERY happy because this was both our first times to a bench show...and to win something, very special....now we are gonna put some time into this dog. "Best of Show" got a really nice plaque, and we want one!!! lol...

Congratutlations, I didnt know anything when i did my first bench show, but it didn't turn out anywhere near as good as you did. LOL
