tree talking jake

if you hunt walkers and want a coon dog, not one of these mouthy me tooing or slick treeing idiots, i mean the kind that go hunting good, get to theirselves and have the coon, i would be looking for something off jake. ive hunted with a couple now and they are both coondogs with or without company.

Hey Rance, remember I told you I was 5 for 5 with 5 straight first place wins with Bull. Make it 6 for 6 now, we won Nt Ch Friday at Rydal. You need to line you up somthing to breed to him. The pedigree dont get any better.

Jake

I hunted with Jake before Paul bought him and I will tell u one thing for sure. He was a hunting fool, when u cut him he was going to get treed somwhere, good mouth, all around nice hound. I have hunted with a couple of pups off him and was not as impressed with either, not saying they all are that way. Jake is a top notched hound anywhere u drop him. Thanks,,Roger Hughes

no sir it doesnt mean they wont honor another dog, its obvious by your comment you are new to the sport so it will be my pleasure to explain what that means to a rookie.

you see down here, we dont have pup up dogs, the woods are big and the coon are scattered, so if they hit one relatively quick they will run and tree with the other dogs, if not, these dogs have the hunt and independance to get as deep as it takes to go find and coon and tree it, without needing any help doing it. you see the time and distance gives the dogs the chance to get scattered, lots of dogs, probally like the kind you are hunting, will either check back in, just piddle out there alittle ways out or me too to my type of dogs when it is treed, these type of dogs are going to go get it done.

not honoring another dog is independance to a fault, just let me know if i can teach you anything else.
