Went to the coon barn last night, hunted with Seth Isch and Charley 7. We hunted from 9:00 to 11:00. Made 5 drops, 6 trees, and saw 5 coon, and 1 den. Ole Charley had first tree every drop!!!!!! I have always thought he was a really nice hound, but he REALLY impressed me last night! I'm not an English man, but if I was that is exactly what I'd want to be hunting.



I thought instead of bashing a hound, I'd try to turn the tide on this board from dog bashing, to letting people know when I see a good COONDOG!!! CHARLEY 7 is a COONDOG!

Joe,

Yeah I know, hard to believe someone (Especially a blueticker) would say something good about another mans dog, but, mark it down it happened on 10/6/06. I'll commend a dog when they deserve it!! He deserved it last night, that is for sure!!

I didn't get to see him go but I made it up to the Coon Barn last night and had a good hunt and met some new faces and had fun,Seth thanks to you for the welcome anytime invite and hope to see you next time!

P.S. I've heard before that 7 is one tough hound and Matt said on the way home that he was just tearin it up last night!!!!!

And also I thought I would throw this little tid-bit in, In my cast we had a Walker,English,Bluetick,and of course a Black-Dog in my little hunt and I thought all four of them looked good and hunted good whether they hunted together or split!

You've known me long enough to know I call'em as I see'em. I hope to be back for the last one of the year!

Took that young dog the next night, she treed a lot tighter up on the tree. Gonna have swallow some pride if she makes it, the wife will never let me hear the end of it!!! LOL!!
