until i started reading on this site , i never gave much thought about seeing coon when the dogs treed ? when i went hunting and the dogs treed we would go look at the coon, every once in a while we would have a den tree. if ross was with me and we were hunting ol stormy i'd say dont worry we'll see this one too , i'd squall and there it is. now when we go and they tree we still go look at the coon, but now i think what is the deal ?!?!?!? why is there so much discussion about dogs slick treeing and you hear people bragging every now and then this dog has the meat or trees real live coons. its just!!, how can it be such a big deal?. we dont and haven't had a problem with this. is it where we hunt or just that we are lucky to be hunting dogs that we do( which evrything except 2 is from ol stormy or his decendants)!??!!?

I'm with ya, ronald. I dont understand it either. If our dogs tree, we usually always see the coon. We dont even live in an overpopulated coon area. I guess we dont have these slick treeing idiot coon dogs alot of people are complaining about.
