Chrys & Shannon, while you two are setting there watching the Grand Ole Opry tonight, I've been out there trying to tame a few coon down for when you all come over. Had a good little ole short hunt, just Squeaky, & Sis & me, made 3 trees, & seen 5 coon. The first track they struck about 100 yards from the truck, & trailed around in the edge of a Bean field, & then got treed right in the edge of the woods. I backed out into the field & they had 3 kittens that I seen for sure. I led them down along the edge of the field away, & turned them loose again. They struck a little way out in the woods & then came back out in the field where the Beans stopped & an Alfalfa field started & trailed across it to another woods. They split up & Sis (AKA- ER) came treed, & while I was going to her, Squeaky kept trailing on west down a little branch toward the big creek. I found Sis's coon & put her on the lead & headed for Squeaky & about that time she treed, down toward the big creek. Got to her & she was treed about half way up a little bluff. Found her coon right away setting about 15 feet up, in a fork. When I got back to the truck I had been gone 1 hr. & 10 min. Pretty nice hunt, I hope it goes this smooth when you all come over.

We left here tonight around 8:00ish. Made 2 trees one with Mandy one with Bud. (split) We also took one of our 4 mo old pups just to see what he would do. Not to bad. He got out from under our feet real well. When Bud and Mandy treed the pup was right in there with them running from one to the other. Looking pretty good for these pups. This is the 2nd one we have taken out with us. They are doing better than what I expected. Sounds like you had a good hunt yourself. I think we were gone about and hour maybe hour and half, OH I forgot, we seen the coon, but only 1 in each tree..LOL.......We cant wait to meet you and do a little BS'n and huntin'.
