Adult Female Dogo Argentino for Sale - Beloyara Iz Beloy Sotni
I have a soon-to-be 5 year old female Dogo Argentino that I am looking to rehome. I purchased her from Amsterdam back in 2022, but have not been able to breed her due to my own health issues. I've kept her in the hopes that things will get better, but the reality is she's not getting the attention she deserves, and things are not look like they will get better soon. I wanted to see if any serious breeders would be interested in her before I spay her, and rehome her as a pet.
She is a very sweet girl, but she will take moment to get used to other people. If you do have her with other dogs, she will naturally gravitate and emulate the lead male dog - we call her the groupie. For me, I have a male that does not like men inside my home. If she is with him, Bel will bark and growl just like my male. But, by herself in that same situation, she is reserved and quiet. So long as she is with another dog, she will look to that dog for direction. She likes to lay on soft beds, chase squirrels, and surf counter tops. She does pretty good with allowing us to clip her claws/brush teeth, but she will need to be tethered.
She is absolutely gorgeous although I don't know if she is can ever be shown. During the worst of my illness she was kenneled often, and in return developed what I am going to call kennel-tail. She is a very happy dog and wags her tail in any situation. The tip of her tail started bleeding, and kept reopening anytime she got excited - even after we moved her into a larger area for when we could not be with her. Our vet said that the only solution was to amputate her tail, but we did not go that route. Today, there is a section of her tail-tip that is scabbed over and no longer grows fur.
Ever since we have had her, she has gone into heat consistently twice a year with no issues. She was bred once before I imported her, but she has not been bred with me. I'm going to say she is a healthy dog, but I will be getting her a general health check before I rehome her. This appointment will happen mid-late Sept. If she is in anyway unfit to breed, I am not rehoming her as a breeding dog. I have not and will not be OFA testing her.
I will be taking the best/most reasonable offer for her between now and the end of September 2025. She is UKC registered already. Please note that her transportation will also be your responsibility.
Thank you anyone who may be interested in this sweet girl - she really deserves the world, and I cannot give that to her.
