Was wondering the same thing. Was wanting to buy one then stumbled across a bunch of bad reviews.

Bought one when they first came out and it had problems communicating
with tone and correction. They replaced it and the one I have now has worked perfectly until the last update. Now the map will not orient to the direction I am looking. Called them and they said that Android phones were having problems with the latest update and they were fixing it. It has been over a month and it is still not fixed. So I don't know what to tell you. If they fix this problem I am very happy with it, if not then I won't be buying any more.

Sounds like they aren’t quite there yet. Thanks Tom. Seems like it would be a sweet system if functioning properly. Love the idea of setting up a boarder around your hunting area.
