I doubt many people still look at this post or sight anymore but for those that do, ol turkey turned 13 this week. His breeding days seem to be over with but he's still healthy and happy.

For those who still look at this, ol turkey called it quits today at the age of 13. He was my once in a lifetime dog, often described as a walker in a red coat. I wish I had done things a little differently during his prime because I haven't had a dog that could win like he could. I've tried most breeds of dogs, pups out of world champions, they've made dogs to tree coons but not like ol turk. Thanks to everyone who hunted a turkey pup or inquired about him. Thanks to TJ Bolin for keeping him for the last couple of years. I couldn't stand to watch him get old and die. If there's a coondog heaven, things are about to get wild when turkey enters the scene!
