Bill of Sale
I'm beginning to think that putting off on registering my dog when I first got her was a bad idea. This whole process is very confusing to me. Okay, here's my question...
I noticed that the "Bill of Sale" portion of my Temporary Registration Certificate is blank. The breeder mailed this paper to me a few days after I purchased my dog. In the "Rules of Registration" it stated the "Bill of Sale" section should be completed at the time of sale. I'm a little concerned because I cannot recall the exact date I purchased my dog. Can I estimate the date of purchase? I may be off by a day or two though.
Thanks for your help!
You could check with the breeder and you're right procrastination will get you in trouble lol. Or, perhaps the date of your check? If you can't figure it out through any other means, then you are going to have to give it your best guess. Since this is considered a legal document, you want to make sure that you're giving the closest date that you can. This date is very important in establishing your ownership for all kinds of legal reasons.
