How many??

How many coon do you belive a dog needs killed to them to keep them performing right? I heard many differenet opinions on this and just wonndered what yours was.

I personally used to think they needed almost everyone, but after seeing many different hounds over the years I have changed my mind. When they are just starting I'll give them a few, but after that I don't think they really need that many.

I give my old male maybe 5 during the season, if that....I think it takes more coon shot down for young dogs and pups, they have to understand that there is game in the tree....
