help with dog

ive got awalker dog that will run and tree by his self but only when he wants 2. How do I break him from doing that. But the catch is that hes 4 and ive had him for 2 yrs now and hes still doin it

Has the dog had alot of coon drop to him?

how often do u hunt him how many coon does he get out of 10 trees say do u pet him when he is around u there can be alot of reasons he is doing this
