I have Never passed out!

I lost conciousness in my accident I guess...but don't remember. When I used to show horses I used to get SOOO scared I was SURE i'd pass out! Never did. I thik I WOULD at a dog show! I did ONE puppy match once....then I had a handler do the second... then I retired the little dog.... I HATED the nerves!
As for the other people bugging you.... Good to keep your chin up! Don't let them big you... just walk away.
Must have been some movie!
Oh great... it's pouring I think, just in time to go out with the dogs....Wyatt and Webster will run for the dog house...Gunner will be a good greyhound...he'll do his busines and be ready to come in! The other two will milk it out till either Brandon or I will be soaked... SO- Br is 15, I'm 46... who do ya think will be stuck outside?

Same here...

I don't do rides, cause I get carsick... but I LOVE fried dough and LOVE to waste money trying to Win a 20 cent prize! I LOVE to watch the people. We go to one big fair i the summer I think the Brockton Fair.... they have a great demolition derby series there! Alwys fun. Love to see the animals too on exhibit. Dylan shows rabbits at some of the fairs too. I get a little dizzy just from all the flashing lights, from my head inj. The boys LOVE to try to kill each other with bumper cars. I can't even do that anymore with the injuries in my spine! I was EVIL. I love to get the whole family together to go...Bob is just a big kid and Richard who is SO serious and smart just turns into a little kid with his brothers. Very good time.

I talk about My head injury alot...

... it helps me deal with it. I used to teach people who were head injured. I always try to help people understand it more. I look so normal nd I can funstion real well in alot of ways. My intelligence is still real high. My IQ dropped TEN points after the accident. I actually got a zero on one part of the testing! I laugh about it alot... I have to. I am such a perfectionist, it was hard to let go of that... The spelling, not understanding words etc...I remind myself how LUCKY I am to have lived. I have more trouble with the fatigue than any other thing. My body gets dead tired and my brain just races! The pain from the physical injuries I can handle well. The fatigue gets me grumpy, at myslef. But I don't stay mad long...I figure I was strong enough to handle this, or it wouldn'thave happend. AND... everything happens for a reason too.
Head injury is SO common. Alot of homeless people have some sort of braininjury. People who can't keep jobs. People who seem "lazy" often have brain issues... some are from drugs and alcohol. I always feel SO sorry for people who were hurt MUCH worse than me nd didn't have family to help out with $ and stuff...SO many wasted lives.
Well... the radar didn't help... I THINK we should do the dogs now.... We'll see if it works!
Later, gator

Good Morning James,

OK...so last night, it was ME stuck outside! I walked and walked in the rain TRYING to get Webster to go to the bathroom... I was GRUMPY! He never went! He DID go right thru all the puddles! So, he learned! Wyatt was TOTALLY silent going out, couple of chops, silent all night! AND this am...not a sound! ????Must miss Bob. AM...just as bad... Br and I took turns in teh pouring rain! he would NOT poop! After he ate this am Br took him back out and the little sucker went right away... he finally decided he HAD to go! TWIT! Now they're all sleeping on the sofa! Where I slept last night between hounds! I went out like a lite and Br and I both overslept! Bob and Dyl meandered to MD took 12 hours with fun stops and nap stops and they are packing Rs stuff into the Suburban as we speak. Can't IMAGINE how much the gas will cost! The wether in MD i sunny and nice so they'll take lots of pix for the ride home. Dyls VERY excited to see the sites. I hope your cousins rodeo goes AWESOME! I'm not sure I could watch a relative....Sames as showjumping witht the horses, I was GLAD R quit riding early on! I'm glad Br and Dyl don't ride! Then again, Br got a concussion WITH helmet on MY new dirtbike...I've never even ridden it yet! I can't learn to shift! So I still ride my little semiauto 70! I look like a ten year old boy in my gear! My quad is an automatic too... I KNOW how to shift, but I can't get my BODY to do it! No brain connection! HAVE fun at the rodeo!!!!When is it?

think POSITIVE!

I figure if he is doing what he loves....he will take whatever comes his way. I can't imagine he could do it if he doesn't love it!

Posted by hound_in_heven on 05-13-2006 03:11 PM:

hes doing it because its oneof the biggest eventsin missouri ans some big time riders asked him to caome and ride.

So- He must love it. I wish we had more rodeo around here! So far we have had something else scheduled every time the PBR has been to Worchester MA! One thing I HATE about MA is alot of the stuf I loe to do or see is not nearby. Ahhhhh to be rich once again..... Sigh!
I'm rich in my family.... can do without $ cannot do without my boys!

Hehheh!

Work REAL hard in school, learn a great trade and find a GOOD woman. You will find richness from all three things. Money can be a bonus or a handicap. Whichever you allow it to be! We were very fortunate. My dad worked HARD to go thru med school and become tops in his medical field. He found the BEST woman, had some extra money and taught us wonderful lessons on life. We learned how to live with it and without it!
It is MUCH more fun to have some extra $ but life can be Just fine with a struggle or two! or three.....

if i ever get a wife you will know all about it lol.

Good!

But, can you wait about ten to fifteen years!?! Maybe it'll be that friend of yours.... like Bob and me, you ccan end up with the childhood friend!!!!!!
Never, ever stop dreaming. That's the biggest thing-have goals and dreams and reach for them! Positive thoughts carry you far. Being thankful for today, for what you DO have and not being bitter about what you have not... all the tools to live well....

Posted by hound_in_heven on 05-13-2006 03:44 PM:

i will be wanting to marry that girli was telling you about lol but it probabbly wont happen

Good one!

but... how COOL IS that hound? Look how you spelled it!
That was a good typo! I think all those skunks have come here. We have SOOOOO Many.... those are our paintball targets.... when they start frequenting the feeders and the barn if we can make them Unhappy.... we hope they'll leave without hving to kill them...since the odor stays in the barn for days......
